Booking Contract
Bright Divine Travel acts as a tour operator as well as a supplier and distributor for travel and tourism-related suppliers. By travel and tourism-related suppliers, we mean destination management companies, hotels, activity providers, tour operators, accommodation organizers, transport companies, guides, park authorities, and other travel partners.
By the term booking, we mean the purchase of any product or service made through Bright Divine Travel, on any of our websites, by email, by phone, through WhatsApp, or at your local destination when it forms part of Bright Divine Travel's travel network.
Bookings are binding when Bright Divine Travel has sent written confirmation to an email address or contact channel submitted by the customer. The confirmation is our contract, and it is important that you, the customer, make sure it is in accordance with your order. Any comments or corrections must be made immediately. Payment confirms acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Bright Divine Travel advises customers to keep a copy of the confirmation and take it with them on their trip. You must be at least 18 years of age to make a reservation with Bright Divine Travel. Some suppliers or partners may impose a higher age limit, in which case notification will be provided when you order.
Payments and Refunds
The agreed payment terms apply. Usually, a deposit payment is made when the reservation is confirmed. The deposit amount depends on the type of safari, accommodation, trekking package, activity, permits, and supplier conditions.
For lodge safaris and accommodation-based packages, the deposit is commonly 50% of the total value unless otherwise stated in your quotation. Deposit payment is due at reservation. Deposits are generally non-refundable because they are used to secure accommodation, permits, vehicles, guides, and supplier services.
The remaining balance is normally paid before or at the start of the safari according to the agreed invoice terms. Bright Divine Travel accepts payment by bank transfer/wire transfer and credit card. Customers may be required to cover bank, card, handling, or transaction fees charged to Bright Divine Travel, usually around 5-8% depending on the provider.
- Bank Transfer/Wire Transfer: available for safari deposits, final balances, Kilimanjaro trekking packages, Zanzibar holidays, and private Tanzania tours.
- Credit Card: available for convenient online payment, subject to applicable card processing or handling fees.

Alcohol and Drugs
Guests clearly under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused entry to a tour, activity, safari vehicle, trek, transfer, or accommodation with no right to refund. Guests clearly under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be removed from the activity or vehicle and returned by separate transfer at their own cost to the pickup point, hotel, or other suitable location.
Guests are liable for costs incurred due to wilful damage, unsafe behavior, or failure to follow guide, driver, ranger, lodge, park, or supplier instructions.
Right to Cancellation or Amendments by Suppliers, Partners, or Operators
Circumstances over which Bright Divine Travel or our product owners, suppliers, and partners have no control may result in cancellation or amendment. These circumstances may include weather conditions, road conditions, park restrictions, breakdowns, labor disputes, flight delays, safety concerns, government decisions, illness, force majeure, or equivalent events.
Should such cancellation or significant amendment occur, Bright Divine Travel or the relevant organizer will provide the customer with notification as soon as reasonably possible. If the customer cannot accept suggested alternatives, Bright Divine Travel will follow the applicable supplier terms and refund policy after receiving confirmation from the product owner, supplier, or partner.
Insurance and Insurance Cancellation
We strongly recommend that all customers arrange satisfactory travel insurance before their trip. Insurance should cover medical expenses, evacuation, cancellation, delays, lost luggage, personal liability, and adventure activities. For Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru trekking, insurance should include altitude trekking and emergency evacuation coverage.
Shortcomings
It is considered a shortcoming when what you receive significantly deviates from what you booked and what was confirmed. It is also a shortcoming when you are given insufficient or negligent information about conditions that would normally be important to the travel product you booked.
The following circumstances are not considered shortcomings:
- Minor delays when traveling.
- Deviations from normal weather, temperatures, road conditions, or other climatic conditions.
- Unrealistic expectations about wild animal presence or zoo-style expectations.
- Circumstances resulting from the traveler's own negligence.
- Failure to observe information provided by Bright Divine Travel, guides, suppliers, park authorities, or travel documents.
- Changes required for safety, weather, road, park, supplier, or force majeure reasons.
Even though we do what we can to ensure accuracy and availability, some errors may occur. When such occurrences are brought to our attention, we will do our utmost to notify you within 3 working days after your reservation has been made. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation and refund the price paid where necessary.

Our website, itineraries, prices, routes, accommodation descriptions, and travel information may be subject to modifications and errors without notice.
